1) At first, nothing special seems to happen during Moon's visits to solitary. . . but eventually, he'll start to hear a voice sing along with him during each visit, in both dragon and sealsong. Whoever owns the voice (which is gentle and female) is very familiar with both languages. Should he look around, he won't see anyone in the nearby vicinity. Weird!

One night, once the accompanying voice fades away, Moon will find himself suddenly holding a shimmering, large snake scale. Huh.

2) AT FIRST THE PLANT HATES HIM B( IT IS MAD AT HIM FOR UPROOTING IT FROM ITS HOME!! But. . . the way to this plant's heart is through it's mouth (does it even have a heart) and it slowly warms up to Moon with each day it is fed. Each day the plant seems to grow larger and larger, until it is the side of a small bush. In the end, Moon will have raised a vicious meat-eating plant that is loyal to him and him alone! He can keep this plant even after the plot ends, if you want. IT'S HIS BUDDY NOW.
