I have conferred with the group and the consensus is to try to de-escalate and calm our Friend down. Nessa will instinctively go to attack but Sprezzatura will dissuade her, having experienced the shadow event after the Clocktower.
Meanwhile, Lan Wangji has sandwiches in his pockets, can he tempt Friend with a snack??
Henry will try to speak to it telepathically to beseech it to PLEASE CALM DOWN PLEASE if sandwich bribery doesn't work.
If this all fails then I think they're going to try to flee back upstairs. :'))))
