As of Day 56, night, Reverie's village has given away to the INNER PRISON, another part of the world that has only been seen in glimpses and pieces thus far! Please refer to this document for the new setting information. This setting will remain until September 11, after which the plot will end and characters will be returned to the village.

The new setting does not have a suggestion box, and thus cannot be changed in the same way the village could. However, the new setting will allow for something the village did not: EXPLORATION. Here is how exploration of the new setting will work!

1. Players who are interested in touching something in the setting will fill out this form. Please describe which characters are involved, and also what they intend to do in as much detail as they can! Within a few days I will reply with a tiny little write up of what happens, and you can thread out the scenario at your leisure. This method makes things waaaay easier on me, since I don't have time to run exploradors for 90+ characters r-rofl.

2. Each character can go on two explorations. This is so I am not inundated with exploration requests and die trying to write things up for you, cries. This is also an OOC limit, not an IC one. And to make it clear, this is a character limit, not a player one. So if you have two characters you can do four explorations total, as an example!

3. Characters can do explorations alone; however, I OOCly encourage you to group up with other people, both to lower the amount of requests I get and also because things are more fun in a group! Group requests will likely get more involved responses b/c I'll want to give you all things to thread with, though single requests will still get pertinent things that they can share with the group at large!

4. You will be able to submit exploration requests all the way up until September 5 at mutter mumble time. You have a month to do things, so pace yourselves for sure!

5. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask in the comment below! However, as a note, questions that are "what happens if my character does X" may be best saved for exploration threads, depending on what it is. NOT ALL THINGS WILL COUNT AS EXPLORATIONS; if your character ties to punch a barbed wire fence I can answer that as a mod without it counting as one of your explorations lol. But if your character tries to fix a CCTV, that would be better answered as an exploration. IF THOSE EXAMPLES HELP.

6. Please note that some explorations are going to be dangerous, and characters may be hurt in the midst of same! But no one will die, I can promise you that as a mod. Unless you want to die?? Then you can die. THAT ONE IS UP TO YOU AS A PLAYER.

That's all for explorations, and the last thing I want to say is: all players chosen for Palace Games have been contacted and instructed to keep their participation a secret! Don't worry; they will reveal themselves at least a week or so in advance of Palace Games for sign ups c: Please also note that I am changing the dates of Palace Games due to not realizing I had personal things going on the weekend of September 3 and 4 lol. Palace Games will be running the entire week of September 5 - 11, with each runner scheduling their own time slots during that period. Stay tuned for more information to come!

Who: Lotor, Kaine, Endorsi, Wilbur
When: 57 night
What: DOUBLE TROUBLE DOUBLE DATE.

First: they pick through the torture room to get weapons and tools for future use for their time within the prison. Lotor is grabbing whatever is closest to a sword. Endorsi is more interested in tools than weapons. Wilbur likewise will be looking for anything usable as a makeshift pickaxe, shovel, or axe. Also, pliers and/or shears. During this period Kaine will crawl up to the ceiling to look around, and web a cameras up to watch the places they've taken tools from so they can check the footage later to see how they replenish.

After that, they examine the room. Kaine is checking walls, knocking about to see if anything sounds hollow to find secret passages. Lotor is looking inside the torture devices, taking particular care in examining the inside of the iron maiden. Wilbur is going to sit on the throne. If there's those animate plants around, Endorsi is killing one during this period.

Lastly, BONFIRE TIME. they're going to dismantle torture equiptment once they've looked through it and make a big bonfire in the room. If those creepy faces that are on that level of the prison appear, Endorsi is throwing a rock at it to see if that does anything. TIME TO MAKE THIS ROOM AS UNUSABLE AS POSSIBLE and then enjoy double date in front of the creepy-faced bonfire.

Also, as a final note: All participants in this exploration are absolutely down to clown and up for danger.

1) There are rusted swords in the torture room, yeh! As far as tools are concerned, the group will be able to find pliers and shears (also rusted) with no problem; however, the room is devoid of anything more useful like pickaxes or shovels or hammers or screwdrivers. How does one torture with a pickaxe?? The owner of the room has, perhaps, not figured that out yet. LACK OF IMAGINATION

Kaine can easily crawl up the ceiling and attach a camera there; he won't find anything out of the ordinary while up there, and camera findings will be at the end of the write up c:

2) The room seems devoid of any secret passages, and the torture devices don't have anything useful inside of them. Lotor will notice that the iron maiden's interior is covered in dried blood, though. If he touches a spike, he will cut himself! And get the sensation that something inside the iron maiden is hungry, and that whatever it is thinks he's a delicious snack. :9

There are plants in this room, and when Endorsi kills one, they will, like. Totally LOSE THEIR SHIT at the party. The flowers and vines will become super aggressive and will attack the entire party as violently as they can. They will try to take BIG CHOMPS OF FLESH out of people, but they are especially fond of eyes! It isn't a requirement for a character to lose an eye to a vine, but if you want to, this is your chance!! Embrace your inner pirate!! For as violent as they are, it is pretty easy to kill/destroy/burn away/what have you the plants, and they will settle down once they are properly beaten into submission. Injuries in this portion will be minor, at worst, and you can have those injuries be whatever you want them to be. RULE OF INJURY FUN!

Wilbur may sit on the throne. Nothing happens at first, so the party may begin their bonfire at leisure, if they still wish to after PLANT AND VINE APOCALYPSE.

3) Every time a character tries to dismantle some torture equipment, they will find themselves surprisingly clumsy in handling the equipment and hurting themselves at every turn. The same HUNGER sensation that Kaine felt earlier with the iron maiden returns, only this time everyone can feel it; it's like there is something in the room that wishes to DEVOUR, and it isn't happy about you guys taking apart the equipment. Nevertheless, should you continue through the small injuries and accidents, a bonfire can be made. A face does appear in the bonfire, but its features are completely indiscernible and it vanishes once Endorsi throws a rock at it. And after that--

Iron straps suddenly clamp Wilbur in place on the throne. The image of the throne itself seems to flicker a few times, before it shifts from the edgy black wing thing to an electric chair. Wilbur is stuck in the chair, with the helmet around his head, and no amount of force or magic can break him free. Characters are free to try, but eventually, the chair bursts to life, sending a wave of (non-lethal) electricity through Wilbur.

The electricity will knock Wilbur out, but in the back of his mind, he will hear a nondescript voice commanding him to attack the group. The voice will be enticing, soothing, comforting, and Wilbur will find himself wanting to follow its every command, as though brainwashed. Once he embraces the voice, the chair will let him free, and he will find himself compelled to attack the rest of the group. I don't know Wilbur's powerset so I don't know how powerful of a combatant he is, so injuries in this portion will be up to y'all! You can go as full ham danger as you want, or the injuries can be mild, it is up to you. The only thing that will snap Wilbur out of his brainwash is smacking him upside the head. The brainwash will fade at that point, and Wilbur will be back to normal, having remembered everything he did while under the effect of brainwash.

4) And finally, when Kaine retrieves the camera, he will notice. . . something strange about the footage. The footage of the entire group's exploration of the torture chamber is fine, but there are a few times when a ghostly figure seems to make an appearance, even though none of the group actually saw this figure in person. The Pale Rider appears in the footage at the following times:

- When Lotor is examining the iron maiden and cuts hismelf; the figure is looming over the iron maiden, the scythe held very close to Lotor's neck.
- When the face appears in the bonfire; the figure appears in the midst of the flame, holding its scythe high in the air, the weapon glistening in the fire.
- When Wilbur is trapped in the electric chair; it appears to hover over the chair as the iron shackles clamp down, and it is the one that activates the chair to send a shock through Wilbur's system. The entire time Wilbur is brainwashed, the figure is superimposed over Wilbur's, mirroring each of Wilbur's actions on its own, like it's controlling every move. It vanishes for good once Wilbur is brought back to his senses.
