Hello everyone! And now I am ready to write up the plot debriefing and announcements. I once again want to thank everyone for participating; I had a BLAST doing this plot from a mod's perspective, and hope you all had fun too!!
So now I'd like to talk a little bit about what I want to do now that this plot is over c: Some things are going to be implemented ASAP, while others will be implemented in the near future once I find a good time to make an IC post announcing same. SO WITHOUT FURTHER ADO–
THE METANAV APP:
First things are first, characters will notice that they still have access to the mysterious app that allowed them to enter character Palaces before. Which means that yes, Palace Games are now a permanent mechanic of the game! You may OOCly run a Palace Game whenever you want, without running it by me first! This does mean that you will be responsible for scheduling your own Palace Games and putting up sign ups for it too, but so long as you don't mind doing that, go wild! It's as simple as putting out feelers to your CR like HEY I WANNA RUN A PALACE GAME DOES ANYONE WANT TO PLAY IN IT, and you can slot it into the game timeline ICly whenever you see fit.
A few notes about this:
Annnnd that is all. This is meant to be a fun mechanic to allow those who didn't run Palace games this time around a shot and DM-ing something fun, so go wild, follow your dreams, etc etc!
THE BOX NPC:
So one thing I realized I am very bad at as a mod is playing NPCs who are supposed to be engaged with the playerbase, and for that, I am deeply sorry. I did mean to have Zhewei Box-san out more during the plot for cute interactions, and I tooootally dropped the ball on that one!! HOWEVER, I do want Box-san to be more available post-plot (because it narratively makes sense!), so I as a mod will be workshopping a way to make that happen that doesn't rely on me being around to tag, because. . . I don't want to drop threads on you like I did during plot ;w;
With this, I want to let you know that the mechanics for the suggestion box will change soon! It's really only the flavor text/aesthetic of the suggestion box that will change, and how characters ICly go about it, BUT everything else will stay the same– I'm still gonna let Kia handle box requests, and you will be able to ask for the same things you were asking for before the change. The flavor text change will be announced in an IC post that I will make sometime in the upcoming week, when post-plot things calm down a bit.
NOTHING ABOUT THE BOX IS CHANGING RIGHT NOW, I just wanted to give y'all a heads up that I was gonna do a cute narrative thing with that soon. That's all!!
TEAM!!:
Looking at the queue, I think there is a chance for me to introduce one last new team to the game. I don't know when this will happen, BUT I'd like to do it to even out the game-playing teams (WE ARE AT 9 WHICH IS AN ODD NUMBER :/) and also [mutter IC reasons]. This will be the last team I'd add to the game– we'll cap out at 10 game-playing teams and 1 game-running team.
FINAL PLOT THOUGHTS:
Other than me dropping the ball on NPC engagement, and also being super slow on responding to explores (thank you for your patience there!) I really do think plot went SUPER well. For transparency, this plot was meant to be more of an info-dump than anything else, with all the information being purposefully obscure and symbolic b/c this is a Persona game and Persona games are NOTORIOUS FOR THEIR SYMBOLISM. So if you have no idea what anything you got in your explore results means– don't worry! That's okay!! c: Perhaps that is even intended!!
SO THAT'S ALL I'VE GOT. Once again, thank you so much for playing in my game, which is about to be one year old (!!!). I can't believe we've come this far, and I've had a wonderful time modding for you all. I'll be using this upcoming week to hash out the game schedule + get something planned for our one year anniversary, so stay tuned for next week's announcements for more information about those things.

ICly, to access a Palace, you just need to input the character's name into the app and you will be transported to their Palace. Keywords (as used in Persona 5 proper) are confusing and hard and we aren't messing with those. For characters who wouldn't ICly volunteer to have their Palaces entered, or for characters who are respectful enough not to peek into their CR's Palaces, that's okay! You can email me and I can give you a reason that a Palace may need to be run. But as a heads up, I won't rehash the whole "Warden tries to ramp up the possessions and characters are beginning to fade" plot, so you won't be able to run a Palace for that reason. That was a one-time thing, alas! You can't access a character's Palace ICly without OOC permission. So, like. . . no non-con Palace-ing. Whether a Palace is accessible is the player character's choice! If OOC permission is not given or for whatever reason you don't want a character to peek at someone's Palace, then characters will just get error messages from the app every time they try. You cannot access Palaces for game NPCS yetor else I would die. YOUR CHARACTER WILL GET ERROR MESSAGES IF THEY TRY
