THE SUGGESTION BOX

What is this?

On Day 65, the manner in which characters make requests for items and changes to their dormitories has changed! The door at the base of the clocktower now has a cute mailbox with the words "SUGGESTION BOX" written on the side. Characters will simply write their suggestions down on a piece of paper and tuck it into the mailbox (or, if they can't write, just like think what they towards a piece of paper and put THAT in the mailbox) to get their requests.

How does this work?

1) The suggestion box will not take multiple requests at a time! If you write down more than one, it will yell at you :(

2) You can request one item at a time from the suggestion box! This item can be anything, such as an item from home (a weapon, a trinket, an article of clothing), or even something you didn't have at home (like medicine, sunglasses, whatever). HOWEVER, the caveat for this is it has to be something your character has seen and/or perceived in their own world. You CANNOT request items from another world that isn't your own, and you also cannot request magical items from your world that you didn't already have (so no getting a super magical super staff that you never saw in your life and/or didn't own, and no getting your friend's super magical super staff, either). You can request an item once an OOC month, starting on the 1st and ending to the last day of said month. There's a size limit on items, though: the box won't give you anything that is bigger than like. . . a horse. You can get small vehicles like motorcycles, but no cars and no gundams, I am sorry.

3) Not all suggestions will be granted! I reserve the right to throw rocks at your character instead. I'm sorry in advance.

4) Bigger setting changes will need more than one character making the suggestion for them to be implemented. To implement a village-wide setting change, you will need 10 +1s to the setting suggestion. To make this easy OOCly, you can have one character make the initial suggestion and then just have a bunch of people +1-ing it for my purposes. Once a suggestion is made and processed, a mod helper (it's been Cleo lately, thank Cleo!!) will add it to the setting whenever we have a bit of lull time ICly. I won't be giving you buildings every week, for instance! I may wait a few weeks between setting updates depending on how busy we are. It all depends!

5) Any changes to a team's dorm just requires at least half of the team to +1 the request.

6) +1s to community upgrades and/or team dormitories do not count towards your suggestion box request for the month. Neither does suggesting anything!

To make things easier on everyone you do not have to comment to the suggestion box to get your monthly items from home/small items! In fact, I'd 100% prefer you not comment and that you just handwave your character got them somehow. However, if you're uncertain if your request is kosher, or you would like a silly, funny response from Kia (who is replying to suggestion box suggestions), then you are free to comment to the monthly header just for funsies.

INTERACT WITH THE BOX

Also as of day 65, Zhewei is available to speak with at any point characters wish to do so! All they must do is knock on the clocktower door, and Zhewei will answer. However, since we all know by now that one of my pitfalls as a mod is playing NPCs, I can't promise you full threads with Zhewei, as much as I would like to ;w; SO I HAVE ANOTHER IDEA INSTEAD!

If you'd like your character to interact with Zhewei, comment to this top level with a (brief!) summary of the things they'd ask them, or the things they'd want to do with them. I will then comment with an (equally as brief) summary of what Zhewei would do in return. You will be allowed follow up questions if anything Zhewei does or says brings up any, so don't worry about that!

A few limitations:

1) Please keep your comments limited to 2 - 3 main points! This is just so I'm not like, thinking up answers to 20+ questions, sweats. If interaction requests are SUPER LONG, it takes me longer to reply and you longer to get a response to play with, and that's no fun :(

2) You can comment in this manner once and OOC month, again so I don't become inundated with requests for Zhewei interaction from anyone and die under 10000000 requests.

If you would really like a Zhewei thread, you can ask and I will do my best to accommodate you, but do keep in mind how awful I am at keeping up NPCs threads and note that I may be SUPER SLOW. s-strikes a sad little mod pose.

Bugbear has been in need of its own kitchen for some time now, if it could be provided. A moderately spacious and modernized one, with the following:

- Refrigerator and freezer
- A large sink, and preferably one of those dishwashers along with it
- Plenty of counter space
- A stovetop oven
- A microwave (?)
- Pantry with plenty of room for food and cookware

It wouldn't go amiss to also have some dishware and utensils provided, though we could gather our own if need be.

UNICORN DORM UPGRADE

Unicorn would like some upgrades to our dorm.

A kitchen first. Something spacious and modern, with all the usual appliances, nice sink, plenty of counter space, things to cook with (pots, pans, dishes, utensils, SPICES PLEASE) and a table with seating to go with it.

I’d also like to point out that we’re all new and it kind of sucks that we showed up to the bare basics, so we wouldn’t say no to a spruced up common area, either. More couches, better chairs, some windows. You know. Just to put us on the same level as everyone else.

Cerberus Dorm Upgrade!

There's been a lot of stress, so a comfort spa complete with all the fittings and comforts we require would be nice!

We'd like for it to include (whatever can be provided!)

- private spaces for massage beds (also doubling as a relaxation/lounging area)
- soaking tubs equipped with salts and scents and scrubs and a sauna, towels and robes
- makeup, nail, hair and skincare spaces with equipment to help maintain our looks!
- mirrors, of course.
- ambient/controlled lighting

With a comfortable and cozy garden aesthetic to create the perfect mood for pampering anyone!

Courthouse

A courthouse! The idea would be to have a place for official gatherings (such as signing the contract for a team alliance) and who knows, maybe even marriage ceremonies? uwu

- A lobby with a check-in desk. No one works there, probably, but whatever.
- An antechamber for meetings of the sort described above!
- A courtroom itself with a spot for the defense, the prosecution, a witness stand, and a place for a jury. What will this be used for? Who can say? Putting the Warden on trial, one day? Probably not but Ryunosuke can dream.

Skyscraper Mall

- Including a working TV and library of Generic Movies.
-Also can play music and/or stream generic animal channels in case they just wanna watch birds or some stupid shit. BUT MUSIC AND MOVIES IS MOST IMPORTANT.
-It can go in the main area too, but if it's own room, some comfy seats would be nice.
-Maybe it comes with a popcorn maker idk.
