bar (tender) game rules!
Premise & PvP
- It's a bartending game! Inmates will be making drinks to serve their customers... who are other inmates! (Inmates cannot request from their own team, but they can request from other teams.)
- Drinks can be either requested by name from the recipe book and/or custom-made to order. Inmates can ask for as many drinks as they want, but they will be grading the drinks, so don't order too much! Or maybe order too much? Order as much as desired, honestly.
- Here's the catch to these drinks: each ingredient can only be obtained from the magical self-locking cabinet by doing one of the following four "base ingredient" tasks:
- Coffee: Tell a truth
- Tea: Share emotions (verbally or through emotionshare)
- Juice: Share a memory (verbally or through memoryshare)
- Alcohol: Drink the proffered alcohol to get the better/specific stuff fom the cabinet. (Not ICly known: alcohol is laced with compulsive truth-telling effects!)
- Coffee: Tell a truth
Win Criteria
Five teams will win based off the following criteria:
- Most mixed drinks
- Highest % of correctly mixed drinks (e.g. the right recipe & extra parts). This will be determined by the customers!
- Most creative original drink
- Drink that is the Most. end of sentence
- Audience choice
Nitty Gritty Details
- 1 Flavoring ingredient per base ingredient task, even if a memory or emotionshare has a LOT of keywords going on. Just pick one or roll for it \o\
- Memories cannot be controlled when shared! Inmates can direct their memories to a specific keyword, but they cannot pick the exact memory. Memories from Reverie count (but pls tap your thread partners first so ppl know that's happening) and amnesiacs can get memories that were locked to them.
- Once the drink is completely mixed, effects from that drink wear off, but not before then—so someone can be doing an empathy bond and also a memory share at the same time, depending on the drink.
- Just in case: if NSFW comes up in memories/etc, please note it in the subject line and tap your teammates for comfort before having your character share!
- Yes I did steal this from Genshin thank you for noticing that this is the best event in this and any game in existence

Lan Wangji literally passes out after one drink and then is too drunk to control his actions afterwards for a couple of hours. I'm not categorically against playing with this but it is, how you say, an obstacle to gameplay as written
He also doesn't lie anyway so the alcohol thing would be 100% just him passing out and then backflipping out of the game to do stupid shit like construct couch forts instead of sharing memories. I want him to share memories. He wants to share memories. This would be a repeat roulette of either being stuck making the non-alcoholic drinks or just TOO COMICALLY LIGHTWEIGHT TO SHARE HIS TRAUMA
How would you personally play with this situation? Can he ask teammates to get the alcohol for him? Can there be virgin substitutes that also give you effects. I don't necessarily need the latter I'm just trying to envision how I will be the best Lan Wangji bartender for Phoenix I can be within the rules. This is the dumbest problem, please understand

I mean he's gonna get drunk at least once because otherwise why am I RPing but good to know that he'll be able to participate consciously in more than 10% of the game.

If you want 16 club sodas, then you want to do 16 tasks WITH club soda keywords. So like, 16 shocking memories, or 16 shocking truths, etc—mix and match and such!
This DOES mean you will also have like, 16 extra parts of juice if you do 16 shocking memories. Those are just leftover ingredients that you can use for later drinks!

FOR EMPATHY BOND THINGS, do the two characters empathy bonding get the one ingredient (tea) between them? And is the empathy bond a two way emotional share or just the one way from one of the characters?
